The Fraternity of St. Peter in Nigeria works closely with a local medical clinic, Emmanuel Hospital in Orlu, to help the local people receive the care they need.  Pictured below behind the sign are the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Angelo Van der Putten, Mrs. Chidinma Agubom and Dr. Ikenna Agubom.  Also pictured are some of the patients of the doctor.  The doctor's patients suffer from a wide variety of illnesses and defects, from cateracts and femural fracture, to Maxila tumour and maxila deformity, as well as Prostate Cancer and Hepatic inflammation of the gall Ascites.  Dr. Agubom does great work with the poor here in Orlu and the surrounding villages but lacks some of the tools to help him to give the care which the patients need.

The Fraternity has also helped a couple of boys from October and November 2016.  They each had serious eye problems and from the benefactors of Europe and America, the right medical treatment was reached, though on the other side of the country.
